What is Resonote?

Resonote turns YouTube videos into a persistent, browsable knowledge base of structured notes. Paste a URL, and the app extracts the transcript and generates structured key ideas using AI.

Is Resonote free?

Yes. Resonote is currently free to use. If paid features are introduced in the future, they will be clearly communicated before any charges are incurred.

What kinds of videos work best?

Any YouTube video with an available transcript — tech talks, podcasts, lectures, interviews, and tutorials. Very short clips or videos without captions may not produce useful notes.

How accurate are the AI-generated notes?

Notes are generated by an AI model and may contain errors. Use them as a starting point, not a sole source of information. You can review and edit notes before saving.

Where is my data stored?

Your notes and account data are stored in Supabase. The app is hosted on Vercel. See the Privacy Policy for the full list of third-party services.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. Use "Export data" in the account menu to download a JSON file of all your notes. Use "Delete account" to permanently remove your account and all associated data.

Why does the app need my email?

Your email is used to authenticate you and keep your notes synced across devices. It is not used for marketing.
